In 1955, these Chamorro soldiers all trained at Schofiled Barracks, Hawaii and were reassigned elsewhere upon completion. Three years later in 1958 they were once again united back at Schofield Barracks and all of them reenlisted for six more years of service. Featured are: Francisco Salas, Jose Maanao, Jose Cruz, Vicente Torres and Enrique Guerrero.

The late Cecilia (1936-2008) had just completed nine weeks of WAVES (Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Services) recruit training at Bainbridge, MD in 1957. She is the daughter of the late Antonio Leon Untalan and the former Maria Leon Guerrero Santos from Barrigada.
[Note: The Social Security Death Index incorrectly has her date of death as October 15, 2009. She passed away on August 15, 2008.]
