On February 2, 1937 Jose S. Leon Guerrero became the Principal of San Vitores School in Dededo. His predecessor was Maria Arceo Ulloa.
INARAJAN
- Lucas San Nicolas built a new bar.
- On February 14, 1937 Jose D. Flores held a party in honor of Santa Maria
- Miss Edpidia S. Salas, a teacher from Agana was a visitor for a weekend at the residence of Mr. Enemesio Diego
- Mrs. Vicente Rosario was a visitor for a weekend at the residence of Mr. Vicente Flores.
MERIZO
On February 7, 1937 Mr. Jose M. Flores was a guest speaker at the M.G. Cook School Parent Teachers Association.
PITI
- On February 4, 1937 (a Thursday), Mr. Juan M. Taimanglo, a teacher of Dyer School, Piti married Antonia D. Cruz.
- During the evening of February 9, 1937, members of the Fourth Guam Congress held a meeting in the Dyer School building to discuss the matters of two Guam Delegates who were sent to Washington to represent the native inhabitants of Guam for United States Citizenship. Present were: Edward T. Calvo, Gaily R. Kamminga, Tomas R. Santos, Jose Duenas, Pedro Mendiola, and Jose Eustaquio.
- Rice harvesting in Piti was going rapidly and the following were identified among the principal rice harvestors in Piti: Juan S.N. Quenga, Sebastian C. Quenga, Pedro Martinez, Joaquin Concepcion and Felix Quenga.
SUMAY
- Sumay was identified as the second largest town in Guam, and on February 13, 1937, the Public Market built by the Naval Government of Guam opened for business.
- On February 8, 2014, a meeting was held and was attended by an unusually large audience. Chief Commissioner Suarez talked about: delinquent taxes, civic responsibility, the enlistment of patriotic Chamorros in the Guam Militia, and the Governments interest in the welfare of Guam.
- Mr. Vicente S. Borja, President of the Parent Teacher Association of Maxwell School, led a meeting on February 14, 1937 to discuss the “Spirit of Cooperation” between the school and the community.
UMATAC
- Mr. Joaquin Sanchez lost three fingers from an encounter with a large shark.
- On February 11, 1937 Mr. F. Q. Sanchez, Principal of the Magellan School, was admitted as a patient in the Susana Hospital.
- On February 17, 1937, Mr. Jesus Sanchez Quinata and Miss Joaquina Topasna Quinata were married.
YONA
On February 4, Vicente Manuel Rodriguez (from Yona) and Josefa Manibusan George were married in Agana. The fandango was held in Yona at the home of Manuel Cruz.
